The 11th Guangzhou Convention of Overseas Chinese Scholars in Science and Technology (OCS) was held during 20-22 December 2010 at Baiyun International Convention Centre, Guangzhou, China. This convention is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Personnel, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Guangzhou Municipal Government, and is co-sponsored by Beijing, Shanghai and Xiamen city, etc. OCS aims to establish a convenient, efficient, and durable platform for exchanges and cooperation between overseas scholars and internal institutions, and now it has become the largest exchange event in China. So far, more than 2,000 high-level internationalized talents and over 3,000 high technical projects have attended.
CEO Nathan.Hu from MaesInfo was invited to attend this convention, and collected the award for one of the 100 fastest-growing enterprises in the Overseas Students Pioneer Park in 2010 Awarding ceremony & Docking fair of investment.
This year’s selection for 100 fastest-growing enterprises in the Overseas Students Pioneer Pars is jointly hosted by Chinese Overseas Students Pioneer Park Alliance, Pioneering Center Committee for China high-tech industrial development zone, and Organizing Committee Office of the Guangzhou Convention of Overseas Scholars in Science and Technology .The Review Committee is composed of Overseas Students Pioneer Park, Returned Students Service Agency, venture capital organizations, specialized research institutions, and the news media. 83 out of 124 qualified declaring enterprises are awarded after serious first, second and last reviews. There are eight enterprises in Chengdu on the list, one of which is MaesInfo.
